My box of tools.

My followers know about the legal battle i have been going through in the last six and a half  years. This is how my blog started. I decided to take it a step further and publish a book about my experiences, titled The Divorce  Toolbox- Surviving the courts, CAFCASS and Social Services while leading a normal life.  I decided to take my experience and use it to help others. My own case has made me so experienced that people now turn to me for advice.  My book is a self help book that offers assistance on how to deal with a legal battle and have a normal life. In these situations people feel helpless and like they do not have rights. The authorities come into their lives and intrude and effectively dictate their lives. My book gives practical solutions on how people can get round these problems. We have more rights than we think and we are not inferior to these people. Something which prompted me to write this book is how people do not even realise they can make a complaint against an organisation like CAFCASS. These people are not god and keep making mistakes at the expense of children. After seeing the experiences of some of my friends and the various activist groups I follow I felt I needed to do something to help people like me.

I have split the book into sections for people want to read it from cover to cover or just read the relevant sections.Many people for example do not know how to make a complaint about CAFCASS. In my book there is a whole section covering this, based on my own experiences. Some people may still be unsure about whether to end their marriage or not and worried about financial implications. Again the beginning of the book covers this.

I do not want people to suffer in silence and be bullied by the system. Use my book to take control of your life and give your children a better future. It is available on amazon kindle and print book format.   Check it out at

Post Christmas Recovery Kit!

 To say this year is a festive season like no other is a massive understatement! Without a pandemic the festive period for separated families can be a time of doom and gloom. It is with this in mind I decided to release my current book " The Post-Divorce Recovery Kit" just before Christmas.  In 2014 I published " The Divorce Toolbox" which focused more on the legal proceedings around divorce, aimed at people who were at the decision-making stage of divorce or going through court proceedings. Leave my idol alone!

My blog has been up and running for about four months now. Being a hardcore Madonna fan I feel on my part, it is very rude that this is only the second post I have done. However I can make up for it and I feel this post is a must. I have been following Madonna's MDNA tour and have been rather annoyed at the bad press my idol has been getting. Elton John has made comments that her career is over. If that is the case how do tickets for Madonna's concerts sell out so quickly. The cynics out there are always quick to pick on negatives and critisise people, but do not want to acknowledge the positives. Madonna is fifty plus and in her shows she sings, acts, dances and plays guitar. A Real Life Yummy Mummy Photo Shoot.

All these gossip magazines are full of praise for how amazing people like Victoria Beckham look. People forget about the full entourage of nannies, make up artistes etc that she has. They say every picture tells a story and so far all my blog profile pictures have done this.  This recent picture was taken by a talented photographer friend of mine, Tony Lyons who I mentioned a few posts back. I raided my ever expanding wardrobe and chose all the outfits myself and did my own hair and make up. This was along with making breakfast for and getting a four and a half year old ready to drop off at childminders. I certainly was not chauffeur driven. After I dropped Nishka off at Childminders I went to the Writers Group then made my way to Tony's for the photo shoot. The photo shoot itself was fun, creative and collaborative.
